The City of Miami has partnered with GE, Cisco and FPL to bring the new "Smart Grid" system to our residents, allowing them to see exactly where and when they are consuming the most electricity. Smart grid meters link all appliances to a single online account, so that consumers can identify ways to reduce their energy use and save money on their electric bills.

I was featured on The Today Show this morning in a story about this exciting new program, which is expected to substantially reduce energy use in the City of Miami.
